Find, reuse and delete images in the Media Library

The Media Library is the single place every upload goes — product photos, your logo, banner images from the store editor. That makes it both the fastest way to find a photo you already shot and the place to fix it when storage runs out.

   Open Images

   In your admin sidebar, under Catalog.

   Upload from here, or anywhere

   Upload image takes files straight from your computer; you can also upload from inside a product or a store block and the file will show up here too. Uploads are converted to WebP automatically (GIFs are left alone) and capped at 5MB each.

   Keep an eye on storage

   The meter at the top shows what you've used out of your plan's allowance. When the library is full, uploads stop until you delete files or move to a plan with more storage — so it's worth clearing out old versions rather than discovering it mid-launch.

   Select an image to reuse or delete

   Click a tile to select it. From there you can copy its URL to paste somewhere else, or delete it — Select all, Clear selection and Delete selected sit above the grid. Deleting removes the file from your storage and breaks any page still pointing at it, so check where it's used first.

   Search and sort when it gets long

   Search by file name, and sort by newest, oldest, recently updated, name (either direction) or animated first — handy for tracking down the GIF you uploaded months ago.
